Slightly more pure and fresh, the 2010 Domaine de la Terre Rouge Enigma is a delicious blend of 45% Marsanne, 29% Roussanne, and 26% Viognier that shows juicy peach, pear, flowers, and hints of wet stone like minerality on both the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, supple, and beautifully balanced, with excellent richness in the mid-palate that carries into a clean, dry finish, it is an outstanding white that can be enjoyed on its own, yet will also be incredibly food friendly. It should be consumed over the coming 1-2 years.
