(84% zinfandel, 8% petite sirah and 8% carignane) Bright red-ruby. Aromas of currant, orange peel and clove. Juicy, penetrating and complex, with notes of briary berries, cherry pit, bitter chocolate, coffee, pepper and spices. Supple but firm-edged. Firmly tannic finish features excellent peppery persistence.
