The estate’s take on a Right Bank Bordeaux, the 2018 EXS The Reverend is based on Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Lots of ripe black cherries, melted chocolate, tobacco leaf, and bouquet garni-like nuances emerge from the glass, and this beauty is medium-bodied and up-front, with a plump, rounded texture as well as a good finish. This ripe, expansive 2018 offers plenty of pleasure today and should keep for at least 7-8 years.

The 2018 ExS The Reverend is bright, punchy and full of character. Sweet floral notes, spice and berry fruit all build as this mid-weight, flavorful red opens in the glass. Hints of blood orange, mocha and cinnamon perk up the persistent finish.
