2015 Domaine Hubert Lignier Gevrey-Chambertin

(a blend of Reniard, on the east side of the Route Nationale, and Les Epointures): Healthy dark red. Spicy red berries and a coffee nuance on the nose. Supple, creamy and easygoing, showing more red than black fruits; from 100% destemmed fruit and distinctly round in style. Finishes with nicely ripe tannins, a touch of minerality and very good length. This should give early pleasure.
