The 2019 Rully 1er Cru Cloux sits geographically and stylistically somewhere in between the chiseled Margoté and richer Rabourcé. Offering up aromas of freshly baked bread, crisp Anjou pear, hazelnuts and Meyer lemon, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with a fleshy core of fruit, racy acids and a saline, stony finish.
