The 2018 WCS Tannat, purple-black in color, takes time to show its blue and red berry fruits and alluring accents of garrigue and purple flowers, chargrill and graphite. The full-bodied palate is very pretty, with lush fruits supported by surprisingly silt-like tannins and seamless acidity carrying the long, floral finish.

Made from 100% Tannat, the inky colored 2018 WCS Tannat boasts a beautiful bouquet of black and blue fruits, espresso, ground herbs, liquid violets, and pepper aromas and flavors. This pure, full-bodied, concentrated red has ripe, sexy tannins, good acidity, and a great finish. This was the finest lineup I’ve tasted from Jada, which is run by Joshua Harp. Harp is aided by Eric Jensen and Tony Biagi, and this is an estate unquestionably on the uptick.
