The 2015 Nysa Vineyard Pinot Noir is pale to medium ruby in color. This wine also opens with rubbery reduction obscuring the nose—what a shame!—over hints of red and black fruit and floral perfume. Light to medium-bodied, it fills the mouth with warm red and black fruits, cinnamon stick and rose petal perfume, with grainy tannins and wonderful juicy acidity. If that reduction resolves, this will be wonderful wine. 354 cases produced.

Vivid red. Highly perfumed aromas of fresh raspberry, Asian spices, potpourri and smoky minerals take on an exotic incense nuance with aeration. Silky, seamless and sweet on the palate; lively acidity and floral notes provide energy and lift to the concentrated red fruit liqueur, spicecake and floral pastille flavors. Blends power and delicacy with a sure hand and finishes extremely long, featuring zesty minerality and fine-grained tannins that sneak in late.
