2009 Macchione Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Sileo

Here's a producer that seems to be releasing much later than its peers. The 2009 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Sileo shows evolution with aromas of cured meat, crushed stone and sun-dried prune. The wine is interesting and maybe a bit rustic too. The finish is not totally clean, but there is evident marmalade-like sweetness on the close.
