Ex-chateau bottle tasted blind in Sauternes. The Chateau Gravas ‘03 has an agreeable, floral bouquet with what feels like less botrytis than its peers. The palate is ripe but simple on the entry with orange, mango and grapefruit notes. There is a tangible flatness here, not an unpleasant Sauternes, just rather conservative. Drink now. Tasted April 2013.
