The 2019 Pinot Noir Three Hills has a medium ruby color and a nose of cranberry sauce and rhubarb with nuances of cinnamon, underbrush and citrus peel. The medium-bodied palate offers intense red fruits to counter its gregarious new oak spices, a grainy, fresh frame and long, flavorful finish.

Also from Carneros, the 2019 Pinot Noir Three Hills is another lively, incredibly spicy, complex Pinot Noir with pretty red and black cherry fruit, lots of leafy herbs, spice, and incense nuances, medium-bodied richness, and a great finish. It’s already up-front and drinking nicely, yet given its bright acidity, I see no reason it shouldn’t evolve gracefully for 5-7 years.
