The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Star Vineyard is another wine that isn't anywhere close to what it should be. Ripe, sweet black and blue fruits, some violet and peppery herb notes, full-bodied richness, and a sweetly fruited, simple style on the palate all make for a forward, charming wine to drink over the coming 7-8 years or so.

Interestingly, despite coming in at 15.2% alcohol, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Star Vineyard is fairly bright and fresh. Cedary and tight, its red cherries compressed into a core of fruit, this full-bodied, concentrated wine is crisp and mouthwatering on the finish, with softly dusty tannins.
