(from cask) This is the first year for a riesling with this label, and it comes from specific parcels in the Loibenberg. Apple, cinnamon and other brown spices predominate. The palate is lush and full, showing its 14% alcohol a bit. With so much richness and obvious extract, it's particularly tempting to give this the benefit of the doubt. Potential 1 star.
