Deep purple-hued, the 2024 Château Larmande offers up juicy black cherries, subtle cassis, graphite, and spring flowers. Medium-bodied on the palate, it shows juicy, bright acidity and a focused, enjoyable style, although I'd like a touch more ripeness here.

Aromas of sweet cherries and raspberries introduce the 2024 Larmande, a medium-bodied, cool and layered wine that's suave, polished and charming, retaining the estate's signature pleasure-bent profile despite the vintage.

A little overly slim and austere, with fruit that struggles to reach full ripeness, although there is a brightness at the heart, with stone fruits and cherry pits. No need to wait too long, enjoy the textured bright fruits.

The 2024 Larmande feels a little overripe and confit-like on the nose and lacks the definition of better vintages. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins and gentle grip, but lacks a bit of spark—though it does convey a sense of composure on the finish that bodes well. Hopefully, the aromatics will improve.
