2024 Les Champs Libres

Tasting notes
This is a star of the vintage. Les Champs Libres is always impressive, but in 2024 it’s exceptional – a pure and mineral wine that is textured, linear and taut. Like Pavillon Blanc, it’s a wine that you’d unlikely guess was pure Sauvignon Blanc. The aromatics are subtle at this stage, the wine tightly wound, with pithy citrus and white florals, honeysuckle and jasmine, mingling together. The finish is long, with the line of acidity driving towards its salty, mouthwatering point. Blend: 100% Sauvignon Blanc

The 2024 Les Champs Libres brings another level of depth, complexity, and length. Ripe citrus, grapefruit, crushed stone, and a hint of fresh basil all shine here, and it's medium-bodied on the palate, has a pure, layered, elegant mouthfeel, integrated yet high acidity, and a great finish.
Lemon and lime rind with sliced green melon. Some fresh lemongrass as well as white-pepper undertones. Medium-bodied, this has a tactile and energetic palate.
