Tasting notes
The 2024 Suduiraut shows a restrained nose, with elegant aromas ranging from apricot marmalade to notes of sweet hay in the background. On the palate, it is sumptuously concentrated, with a balance between the rich, expressive fruit profile and underlying tension, driving a long, mouth-watering finish. This is a beautifully balanced Suduiraut that should satisfy both early and more patient drinkers. Aged in 50% new oak. 13.9% alcohol, 130g/l residual sugar and 3.83pH. 50,000 bottles were made. Blend: 100% Semillon

Exotic citrus, orange blossom, honeyed mint, and floral notes all shine in the 2024 Château Suduiraut, a rocking gem of a Sauternes that's medium-bodied, has a concentrated, layered, rich mouthfeel, beautiful acidity, and a great finish. It's loaded with classic Sauternes magic.
The complete opposite of the 2022 vintage. Fresher and less unctuous, with more delicate fruit, but there is still plenty of botrytis. Spices, sweet pineapple, lemons, marmalade, wax, fresh mangoes and bitter herbs. Medium lusciousness, with a round, creamy finish. 130 grams of sugar.
