Black cherries, leafy herbs, and sappy flowers all emerge from the healthy purple hued 2024 Domaine Virginie Thunevin. It's ripe and medium-bodied, with a clean and pure profile, ripe tannins, integrated acidity, and a fresh, crips finish. It has outstanding potential.

Iris and peony flowers, this has grip with a fresh, fruity opening and well worked tannins through the palate. No aggression from the acidity here, clear attention to detail. Harvest 28 September to 5 october. 3.7 pH 50% new oak, 45hl/h yields, oak alternatives.

The 2024 Virginie Thunevin is a plump, juicy Bordeaux with plenty of near- and medium-term appeal. Blackberry, dried herbs, menthol, licorice and cloves are front and center. This is a fine effort for the vintage. The 2024 is being raised in equal parts new oak and concrete. Best of all, this should be an unreal value.

The 2024 Domaine Virginie Thunevin has a light bouquet with black cherry and menthol scents. The palate is medium-bodied with sharp tannins on the entry, though it feels bitter on the finish.
