The 2024 Connetable Talbot contains more Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend (59%) and was matured in used oak barrels. It has a light but agreeable nose with tobacco and sous-bois infusing the black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe tannins, fleshy and quite peppery in style, with a nicely composed finish. Quite open even at this early stage.

Cedar, and currants in the perfume, and mid-palate, with a soft, fresh, approachable finish that will provide instant pleasure on release. This is quite nice for easy, uncomplicated drinking.
