Spiced red and black cherries, tobacco, lead pencil, and hints of chocolate all emerge from the 2019 Château Hervé Laroque, a wonderfully textured, medium-bodied Fronsac with ripe yet present tannins, terrific balance, and a great finish. It's a beautiful 2019 that can be drunk today or cellared for 8-10 years.

The 2019 Hervé-Laroque has a well-defined nose of blackberry, tayberry and light earthy aromas tinged with mocha. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe tannins and good structure. Not complex, but fresh, leading to a detailed finish. Worth sticking away in a cellar for 3–4 years.
