Score 89/100 · Drink 2019-2031, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2018

The 2016 Paramount, Gamble's Bordeaux blend, is an attractive, fleshy wine. Dark red cherry, plum, leather, spice, menthol and tobacco are front and center. Pliant, supple and inviting, the 2016 will drink well with minimal cellaring. This is an especially succulent style.

Score 89/100 · Drink 2019-2029, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Oct 2018

Made up of 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot and 8% Petit Verdot, the 2016 Paramount Proprietary Red is very deep garnet-purple colored and exudes fresh red and black plums and warm cherries with touches of red currants, cassis, spice box and potpourri. Medium-bodied with a plush texture and loads of juicy, uncomplicated black and red fruits, it has a refreshing lift on the finish.
