2008 Peter Barlow Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2008 Peter Barlow undergoes a fortnight’s skin maceration with malolactic in barrel, then aged for 24 months in wood, of which 64% is new and the rest second and third fill. It has a potent bouquet of red cherries, raspberry, cigar box and leather that is nicely defined, perhaps a little old school. The palate is medium-bodied with a soft, sensual opening.
