1999 Thomas Pinot Noir Dundee Hills

Brick-red color with a pale rim. Aromatic nose combines strawberry, dried flowers, underbrush and smoke. Supple, sweet and easygoing, but quite open-knit, even evolved, for a young wine from this producer. Seamless already and perhaps best suited for near-term drinking. Finishes with sweet tannins and good length.
