The 2015 Grand Tayac is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. It has a pretty bouquet with red cherries, crushed strawberry and a light marine influence that develops with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet entry, plenty of black fruit here that feels a little toasty in style however, there is great depth and the plush black cherry and saline finish is irresistible. Tasted at the Oenoconseil tasting room in Bordeaux.

Complex and integrated aromas of dark fruits, earth and spices here lead to a palate that carries a supple and almost tangy core of red berries and plum flavors amid nicely wrapped tannins. Try from 2020.
