Score 93/100 · Drink 2020-2030, Jeb Dunnuck, Jan 2020

Offering lots of blue fruits, crushed violets, melted chocolate, and a touch of curing spices, the 2017 Cabernet Franc (100% varietal aged in new barrels) is a powerful, ripe, opulent Cabernet Franc that puts its foot firmly on the ripeness pedal, yet pulls it off beautifully, possessing good purity, ripe, silky tannins, and a great finish. Drink it over the coming decade.

Score 89/100 · Drink 2019-2028, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Oct 2019

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Cabernet Franc has a nose of baked blueberries, preserved morello cherries and red currant jelly with touches of pencil shavings and wild sage. The palate is full-bodied, taut and laden with dried berries and herbal layers, framed by a chewy texture and bold freshness, finishing with good length.
