Score 88/100 · Drink 2018-2022, Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, Feb 2018

The 2015 Rosso di Montalcino opens to a plump and darkly saturated appearance that is absolutely specific to this sun-soaked vintage. The nose is redolent of ripe cherry, dried raspberry and blueberry. The fruit is pure, soft and intense. Rossos are easy and informal in terms of mouthfeel, and those qualities apply to this expression. This is a great choice for those looking for excellent value from Montalcino.
