Score 84-86/100 · Drink 2022-2028, Neal Martin, Jan 2021

The 2019 Beaune Toussaints 1er Cru has an upfront, intense nose with cranberry, raspberry and blueberry, pure but missing a little mineralité and terroir expression. The palate is sweet and candied on the opening, quite lactic in texture with a figgy finish that suggests that the warmth of the summer got to this Beaune more than Morot's other cuvées.
