One third whole bunch, no new wood. 13% as finished wine, picked at 12.5%. An even, crimson purple, the nose is quite gentle, but the fruit grows well behind, strawberry aromas with a savoury touch, good acidity and very persistent. A success.

The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy cranberry and strawberry. There is just the right amount of bitterness on the finish that gets the saliva flowing. Give this three or four years in bottle just to shave its edges.
