2016 Xavier Monnot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Folatières 750ml

The 2016 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières has a crisp, pretty bouquet like the Meursault Charmes with scents of lemon peel, apricot and white flowers, touches of wet granite just underneath. The palate is well balanced with a rounded entry, not quite as detailed as the aforementioned Meursault but with good length. Fine. Drink over the next six to eight years.
