Mid crimson. Nicely relaxed on the nose. Very fruity and still very youthful. Like pure elderberry juice with a little tannin on the end. Lots to chew on. Very different style from unfruity Dr Heger! With, for the first time when tasting these German Pinots, a little alcohol on the end. Structure still beats fruit. (JR)
