Grown on the estate's Cardiac Hill Vineyard—one might suppose it's rather steep—the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 7 boasts aromas of vanilla, cedar, black cherries and cassis. Supple and silky in feel, this medium to full-bodied effort finishes long, with elegant notions of dried spices that hint at cinnamon, clove and anise.

The deep ruby/purple-hued 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 7 has a solid bouquet of red, blue, and black fruits as well as lots of iron, leafy herbs, and violet notes. It's rich, medium to full-bodied, has beautiful fruit, and a great finish. Drink this perfumed, complex, incredibly satisfying beauty over the coming 15-20 years. 605 cases.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 7 is dark, fleshy and super expressive. This warm site on the northern end of the property yields a Cabernet that is decidedly succulent in texture. Even so, there is good freshness and plenty of verve.
