Score 91/100 · Drink 2026-2032, Matthew Luczy, Wine Advocate, Oct 2025

The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate includes 14% Petit Verdot, 6% Tannat and 1% Carignan that aged for 22 months in 50% new 225-liter barrels. A red- and black-fruited profile supplemented with graphite and crushed stone aromas introduces a taut, firm palate framed by bracing acidity that borders on austerity. The finish is chewy and introverted, lingering with an additional round of graphite undertones. This will surely benefit from a bit more time in the bottle to soften, but I suspect it will always be a fairly firm, somewhat attenuated expression of a challenging vintage for Bordeaux varieties.
