Vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically, grapes are hand harvested from the climat La Madone where semi-carbonic maceration takes place and the wine is aged in burgundy barrels for 8-12 months before bottling. Notably transparent. Very pure and light and with more than a hint of ‘natural’, slightly barnyard aromas. Truly sincere, but a bit too subtle for neophytes. (JR)

Light, bright red. Zesty redcurrant and Asian spice aromas show impressive clarity and an intense mineral quality. Lively, surprisingly concentrated red fruit and floral pastille flavors pick up a bitter cherry nuance with air. Finishes racy and pure, with excellent persistence. I really like this wine's blend of depth and vivacity.
