Score 88/100 · Drink 2021-2029, Jeb Dunnuck, Jan 2021

A blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Merlot, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Jefferson Cuvee is a medium to full-bodied, juicy, incredibly floral Cabernet revealing bright, vibrant blue fruits as well as ample violet, forest floor, and cedar aromas and flavors. Nicely textured on the palate, with well-integrated acidity and, again, this fresh, floral, exotic character, it should keep nicely for 7-8 years. It's certainly not your value-priced fruit bomb, but you need to enjoy the greener, more floral side to Cabernet as well.

Score 88/100 · Drink 2020-2029, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Nov 2020

Composed of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and 12% Merlot, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Jefferson Cuvee rolls out of the glass with ready-for-business scents of stewed plums, blackberry preserves and redcurrant jelly plus suggestions of dried Provence herbs, tree bark and tilled soil with a touch of crushed rocks. Medium-bodied, the palate has just enough lively black and red fruits with a racy line of freshness and pleasantly chewy tannins, finishing earthy.
