2013 Paul Lato Chardonnay Kokoro

The 2013 Chardonnay Kokoro is a blend of fruit from Sierra Madre, Hilliard Bruce and Pisoni. The biggest and most powerful of Lato's Chardonnays, the Kokoro boasts plenty of depth, but it also comes across as a bit ponderous. Naturally the blend blurs vintage signatures, but in my view little has been gained by putting the sites together. The 2013 is a blend of 50% Sierra Madre, Hilliard Bruce and Pisoni.
