A bit of decay but not horrid by any means. If you suspect techno stuff you would like this. (JR)

Vivid red. Lively, focused aromas of fresh red berries, white pepper and tea rose. Taut and linear on the palate, offering bitter cherry and redcurrant flavors that deepen and turn sweeter with air. This energetic Pinot finishes with gentle tannins, no excess fat, and good tangy persistence.

The 2013 Pinot Noir underwent extra cluster thinning during the growing season and was picked during the second week in October. Matured in 10% new oak, it has a comparatively light red berry nose with strong damp undergrowth scents coming through with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, tensile in the mouth with tart red cherries mixed with sous-bois and tobacco on the finish. Very classic in style, this is a satisfying contribution to the vintage.
