An estate blend of Pinot from the various soils, clones and aspects of the whole Curly Flat vineyard . Attractive, red- and black-cherry fruit lurking under a kind of dried-herb, sage-like umbrella, layered and complex on the tongue. A soft, almost malty red-soil character. Fine, translucent tannins. Harmonious but not quite as distinctive as the single-block bottlings. (MA)

Strawberry, stems, and something very mineral – granite? Petrichor? Distinctive and interesting. Fine tannins, balanced acidity, moderate length but plenty of core fruit that will decode itself with time. (RH)
