With a nose of fresh squeezed citrus, honeysuckle, vanilla and grapefruit in the nose, the wine is fresh, lively and packed with sweet lemons that offer bracing acidity with sweetness

Rather oxidised, smashed fruit on the nose. Stale. Second bottle not much better. Because it is going into its famous shell for a few years perhaps. (JR)

This stunningly rich 100% Sauvignon Blanc is drinking fabulously well at present, yet it has the potential to evolve for 15-20 more years. Waxy lemon oil, honeysuckle, nectarine, and subtle new oak characteristics are all present in this light gold-colored, long wine.
