Already bottled. Bright deep straw. Lightly smoky nose with a marked undertow of ripe stone fruit. Very juicy and yet with great structure too. Creamy texture initially and then some chewiness and a note of stewed pears and a hint of lime on the finish. Fairly sweet fruit with hints of baked apples, with a little more depth than, for example, a typical Mâconnais white. (JR)
