Coming from the Anderson Valley, the 2018 Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard has a Burgundian vibe in its savory red and black fruits, spice, loamy soil, and bouquet garni-like aromas and flavors. It’s medium-bodied and balanced, with present tannins and outstanding length. This is 100% Pommard clone that spent 15 months in mostly neutral oak.

Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2018 Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard is a little closed. With coaxing, it reveals delicate scents of warm cranberries, Morello cherries and black raspberries with hints of Marmite toast, lavender, underbrush and mossy bark. The medium-bodied palate is soft-spoken and delicate, framed by velvety tannins and lively acidity, finishing long and savory. 135 cases were made.
