Score 88-91/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2006

Good deep red-ruby. Tight nose hints at redcurrant, musky strawberry, raspberry and pepper. Juicy and fruit-driven but not yet expansive. Perked up by pepper and herbs. The wine's sound acidity makes it appear thinner than it is today, comments Meo. Finishes with supple tannins and good persistence.
