Score 96/100 · Drink 2023-2048, Jeb Dunnuck, Jan 2019

Seeing the same vineyard sources as the 2012 yet aged a full four years in new oak, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Collection is inkier and more impenetrable, with a powerful bouquet of blackberry liqueur, blackcurrants, graphite, sharpened lead pencils, and camphor. A massive, deep, powerful wine, it nevertheless stays beautifully balanced, has a layered, powerful texture, building tannins, and a great, great finish. This is another seriously good Cabernet from this team, but it needs another 4-5 years of bottle age and should evolve for 2-3 decades after that.

Score 91/100 · Drink 2018-2029, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Oct 2018

Made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (one-third each of Cabernet from Coombsville, Napa and Spring Mountain) aged 22 months in 90% new French oak, the deep garnet-purple colored 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon gives intense baked blackcurrants, stewed plums, dark chocolate, licorice and cedar chest with mossy bark and dusty soil suggestions. The palate is big, rich, full and very cedary with firm, chewy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing on a woody note. 250 cases produced.
