The 2021 Grenache (Ballard Canyon), a blend from Stolpman and Larner is a very pretty, delicate wine. Bright red-toned fruit, rose petal, mint and blood orange all grace this lifted, understated Grenache. The 60% whole clusters are very nicely integrated.

The 2021 Grenache is 100% varietal and comes from the Stolpman and Larner vineyards in Ballard Canyon. Its medium ruby hue is followed by a pretty perfume of ripe cherries, strawberries, sappy flowers, and black tea-like nuances. Medium-bodied, supple, and elegant on the palate, it might be confused for a Pinot Noir, but it's nevertheless a pretty, perfumed, satisfying red that will have 5-7 years of prime drinking.
