Opens with a brambly array of ripe red and dark-cherry aromas then delivers a fresh, smooth and layered palate that carries a wealth of supple and succulent spiced cherries. Detailed and plush with good balance and weight. Drink or hold.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Quail Hill is another Russian River Valley release that offers loads of charm and character. Brought up in 42% new French oak, it has ample black cherry and black raspberry fruit as well as notes of spice, sweet cola, and earth. Medium to full-bodied, rounded, and beautifully textured, it’s a balanced, incredibly high-quality Pinot Noir that’s going to evolve for 8-10 years.
