A real crowd pleaser, the 2003 Yalumba Shiraz & Viognier Barossa shows decadent dark fruit, earth and licorice notes with a full bodied, balanced and lush palate. It's well balanced, textured and possesses a long finish that had this bottle being the first to be emptied.

Another upgrade in the huge hierarchy at Yalumba, the Hand Picked selections are all impressive. The dramatic 2003 Shiraz/Viognier (95% Shiraz and 5% Viognier) is exotic and flamboyant. A dense purple color is accompanied by an exceptionally projected bouquet of honeysuckle, litchi nuts, black raspberries, black currants, and licorice. This layered, opulent, hedonistic Shiraz will be satisfying to drink over the next 5-6 years. Importer: Negociants, USA, Napa CA; tel. (707) 259-0993
