Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Morisoli Vineyard displays a deep garnet-purple color, offering up expressive notions of black plums, warm cassis and fragrant earth with hints of cedar chest, clove oil and cinnamon toast. Full-bodied, the palate is jam-packed with rich, spicy black fruit preserves, framed by chewy tannins, finishing on a lingering earthy note. 236 cases were made.

From a slightly higher elevation vineyard in Rutherford, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Morisoli Vineyard sports a dense purple color as well as lots of meaty, blue Cabernet fruit intermixed with plenty of chocolate, tobacco, earth, and spice. This chewy, full-bodied wine has building tannins and a good finish. It's not the most elegant wine out there, but it has plenty of extract and density, with outstanding length. It will keep for 10-12 years.
