Slightly wet wool/mouldy nose. Great precision on the palate but it lacks a little bit of stuffing. Respectable but not enormous pleasure, as Jean-Marc Boillot usually is! (JR)

Closed nose hints at peach and nuts. Fatter, sweeter and broader than the Referts but less showy now despite possessing more stuffing. In fact, this is a bit youthfully taut and rocky. Finishes firm and minerally, with thorough ripeness. This reminded me of a Meursault Perrieres, and seems less exuberant, but more classy, than the 2005 version.

Low-key nose for the moment. Great richness on the palate. Very broad and seductive. Rewarding! Creamy. Flattering. Round. Powerful, big and bold. The village wine is probably better value. (JR)

Pure aromas of orange, grapefruit and spices. Round but quite dry, even a bit austere, with flavors of pineapple, grapefruit and stone. A bit tough today in the middle palate but finishes long and ripe.
