The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Cambium is a rich, heady wine. Super-ripe dark cherry, plum, chocolate, spice, new leather and menthol all race out of the glass as this ample, large-scaled Cabernet shows off its considerable allure and inviting personality. Sweet floral and spice notes, along with a burst of red-toned fruits, liven up the finish. The 2017 is jammy, exotically ripe, and positively gorgeous.

The 2017 Cambium is a barrel sample blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc. Deep purple-black colored, it charges out of the gates with wild blueberries, red and black currants, baked black cherries and cedar chest notes with hints of spice cake and dried herbs. The palate is medium to full-bodied, firm and grainy with a good core of fruit and an herbal lift to the finish.
