Score 92/100 · Drink 2023-2034, Anthony Mueller, Wine Advocate, Mar 2024

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon, enhanced with 10% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, presents balanced fruit layers, offering a juicy and fresh profile within an oaky frame. A floral lift and a waft of rocky essence contribute to its aromatic complexity. Medium-bodied, the wine maintains a fresh and balanced character, providing a great drinking experience—that goes down all too easy—before coming to a lingering, spicy finish. It aged for almost two years in 25% new French oak. This 48,000-bottle production is killer for the price, delivering quality and value.

Rich and dark-fruited with ground spices, cedar and hints of pine cones. A little earthy, too. Firm and structured with a full body and plush, velvety tannins. Lingering finish. Drink or hold.
