Score 82/100 · Drink 2014-2017, Robert Parker, Apr 2014

A fruity, straightforward Margaux, this 2011 lacks complexity, but it offers simple juicy red and black currant fruit in a one-dimensional, bistro style. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.

94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot. Good, powerful, rich, opulent nose. Very convincing. Delivers tasty ripe fruit on the palate too. Certainly modern. Seamless balance. Perhaps just a bit too ripe for traditionalists, but in terms of enjoyment, this hits the spot. (RH)
