Currants, cassis, and sugary spice notes emerge from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Rattlesnake, a rich, full-bodied, decadent wine that I suspect might have some residual sugar. Drink up. I found these wines to be mostly fruit-forward and simple, although certainly enjoyable.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Rattlesnake tastes like liquid candy. Sweet, cloying and oaky, the Rattlesnake is a train wreck.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Rattlesnake charges out of the gate with bold notions of crème de cassis, plum preserves and juicy blueberries, plus hints of Indian spices, cedar and camphor. Full-bodied, rich, expressive and spicy in the mouth, it has velvety tannins and bright acidity, finishing with epic length.
