2023 Forman Chardonnay

The 2023 Chardonnay is powerful, rich, deep and intense in the glass. Lemon confit, sage, mint and chamomile are all dialed up. The Chardonnay is a blend of two picks, one on the early side for freshness, a second later for texture. As always, the Chardonnay does not undergo malolactic fermentation. New wood is 30%, a bit more than in the past. It's a style that works quite well. This remains one of the most distinctive Chardonnays in the United States. Superb.
